For International Women’s Day 2019, marie claire magazine chose to address the very serious issue of domestic violence.

A global report found that more than half of the women killed in 2017 died at the hands of a partner or relative – a staggering statistic that amounts to 137 women a day.

Whilst globally there are many ad campaigns to address this horrific reality, in Australia we are not doing enough to address this crisis and protect the lives of the women around us. marie claire asked five top ad agencies to create an awareness campaign around the domestic violence epidemic. Two of our submissions were chosen to represent Ogilvy.
